Dr. Anjana Prajapti

Dr. Anjana Prajapati is a senior faculty at the Department of English, Marwadi University. She has been associated with academics for 18 years and has served the institute for 8 years. Her areas of interest include translation studies, fantasy literature, magical realism, English Language teaching, and education. However, historiography in Translation is her core area of interest. Her research aims to provide alternative explanations for the history of translation. It helps scan the nuances of how translation acts as a catalyst in forming social notions and cultural ideologies that may further affect the production of literature. She has several publications in the field of translation historiography. She has 5 PhD scholars working under her guidance and 4 students have completed their short dissertations under her guidance. In addition to this, she is keenly interested in education, especially in classroom delivery, learning by doing, and experience design. She is trained in the field of learning experience design and has imparted training to many faculties.
Dr Vidhi Mehta

Dr Vidhi Mehta has earned her PhD degree for her research on comparative studies on Indian Drama from Saurashtra University, Rajkot. Her areas of interest encompass Language, Gender studies, and Translation Studies, and she actively guides students in these domains. Presently, six students are pursuing a Ph.D. under her supervision. She has been in the field of English language teaching for about 15 years. She has taught English Language, Communication Skills, English Literature, Research, and many other subjects at various levels from secondary to PG level. Dr Mehta published 2 patents under the IPR and 9 Research papers in various reputed international journals. She worked as a reviewer for Gujarati Language under the Book Translation Projects funded by AICTE. Dr Mehta worked as a translator and reviewer for many reputed companies among them the major one is Twitter. Apart from that she has done many translations, transcription, and research projects. Dr Mehta delivered many expert sessions and served as a judge for many competitions. She enjoys integrating technology into Teaching, striving to enhance the effectiveness and interest of learning and teaching the English Language and Literature. Currently, she is working with Marwadi University, Gujarat as an Assistant Professor of English and teaching English Language and Literature to UG and PG students. She serves as a member of the Board of Studies and a Secretary for the Doctoral Research Committee within the Faculty of Arts at Marwadi University.
Dr. Rajeshkumar N. Joshi, Associate Professor of English has a vast teaching experience of 25 years. His area of specialization is English Literature and Language including Diaspora Studies, Poetry, American Literature, South Asian Literature, Gender and Cultural Studies, Media and Communication. He has taught Phonetics, Theatrical Arts, Literature and cinema, Professional Communication, and personality development at the U.G. and P.G. level in various streams and programs. He has been constantly doing experiments and research in his areas of interest to contribute to the fields. He has presented research papers in many national and international seminars and conferences and published the same in different international journals. He writes poems in Gujarati and has translated poems and short stories from Indian Languages to English and English to Indian Languages. His poems and translations have been published in different national and international magazines and journals. He is an excellent orator and till today more than 250 events are anchored under his name.

Ms. Mudra has been working as an assistant professor at Marwadi University for the last 2 years. She is a dedicated and accomplished professional with a strong academic background in Arts and Education. She holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in English literature. She has done her specialized in English through a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) program, conducted in the English medium. With a passion for literature and language, in English education, bringing a deep understanding of both the subject matter and pedagogical techniques. Her areas of interest are Indian English literature & Women Empowerment.
Ms. Aarzoo is currently pursuing a doctoral degree. Her consciousness towards climate change and the earth’s environmental health led her to pursue her doctoral research in the direction of Eco criticism and climate fiction. She completed her MPhil on Eco dystopian theory and novels, post-graduation, and graduated in English Literature. Her keen interest in multidisciplinary approaches led her to study General Semantics, Film Studies, and European Literature during her post-graduation days. She has cleared her Gujarat State Eligibility Test (GSET). She has presented research papers at many national and international conferences. She has also published many papers focusing on climate change fiction and eco-critical novels in various peer-reviewed national and international journals. Her areas of interest are poetry, film studies, Indian English Literature, and eco-criticism.

Dr. Nishita Jataniya is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Translation Studies from Indira Gandhi National Open University in online mode. She holds a doctorate in English with a focus on Translation Studies, an MPhil in English (Translation), an MA in English literature, and a BA in English Literature. She is certified in the Gujarat State Eligibility Test (GSET). She has presented papers at various national and international seminars. She has authored publications on various literary topics, including analyses of works by Kundanika Kapadia, Umashankar Joshi, Bapsi Sidhwa, and Amitav Ghosh. She has completed a 3-week Intensive Training Programme on Research Methodology in Translation Studies organized by National Translation in CIIL, Mysore. She has also participated in several FDPs, Certificate Courses, Workshops, and Seminars. Her areas of interest encompass Translation, Comparative Literature, Feminism, and Postcolonial Literature.

Ms. Dhruvi Vora has been working with Marwadi University for the last year. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Diaspora Studies. She has also published a research paper in a national journal. Her area of interest is in Diaspora Studies, Feminism, and Partition Literature. She completed her master's from St. Xavier’s College, Ahmedabad. While working as an Assistant Professor, she is also an event anchor and a tutor. She is also actively working as a volunteer in the AFS (American Field Service) Organization. Through the organization, she went to the United Nations for a year under the YES Cultural Exchange Program.
